To introduce applicable European practice to Armenian enforcement officers, JACES of the RA Ministry of Justice invited European experts Mr. Bernar Menut, the First Secretary of the International Union of the Judicial Officers, and Mr. Jos Uitdehaag, European Union expert on compulsory enforcement affairs, to make presentations for the Armenian enforcement officers on topics of concern.
At the round table discussions held 26 through 29 March at JACES, European Convention on Human Rights and the activities of enforcement officers, the comparative analysis of various systems of compulsory enforcement service currently operating in Europe, EU standards of legal education, as well as the regulations on interstate functions of the enforcement service will be presented. The experts will introduce enforcement service systems of European countries - defining the development prospects for those systems. Enforcement service models - both state and private – will also be discussed, which will allow to consider the expediency of introducing the institute of private enforcement in Armenia.
To note, back in October 2011 the JACES held an international training conference with a purpose of studying the practices of different countries and coming up with the best applicable model for Armenia.
