Compulsory Enforcement Service becomes full-fledged member of the International Union of Judicial Officers  2015-06-05 17:35

The protocol document on the Compulsory Enforcement Service of the Republic of Armenia becoming a full-fledged member of the International Union of Judicial Officers was signed during the 22nd Congress of the International Union of Judicial Officers held today on June 5 in Madrid.
The document was signed by Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of the Republic of Armenia, Major-General of Justice Mihran Poghosyan and President of the International Union of Judicial Officers Leo Neten.
With this, the International Union of Judicial Officers, which has 85 member states, now has another member, that is, the Compulsory Enforcement Service of Armenia.
In his speech preceding the signing of the protocol, Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of the Republic of Armenia Mihran Poghosyan mentioned the following: “This perhaps legally records the fact that the Compulsory Enforcement Service of Armenia, having collaborated with the International Union of Judicial Officers as an observer since 2010, has managed to best present its progressive skills and experience, be perceived and understandable and have its special place and role in the sphere of international cooperation. I assure you that the Service attaches great importance to the study of international experience and consistently takes steps to ensure close cooperation with the corresponding services of other countries.”

Let us remind that on June 3, the delegation led by Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer of the Republic of Armenia Mihran Poghosyan left for Madrid on a three-day working visit to participate in the 22nd Congress of the International Union of Judicial Officers. The event is being held with the title “Compulsory Enforcement Officer: Link between the Law and Economy: New Approaches to Coercion”.
The proposal of the President of the International Union of Judicial Officers to hold the spring session of the Permanent Council of the International Union of Judicial Officers in Armenia in 2016 was approved during the congress.
