Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer Sergey Meghryan, with participation of the management of the Compulsory Enforcement Service, paid a two-day working visit to the Syunik Marz Department of the Service to become familiar with the existing issues and the organisation of the activities of the Department on site.
Before the consultation meeting, Sergey Meghryan, Deputies Levon Balyan, Aram Karakhanyan, Acting Chief Secretary Gagik Mirijanyan, accompanied by Head of Syunik Marz Department, Lieutenant-Colonel of Justice Artur Martirosyan, firstly toured around the Sisian Division, became familiar with the building conditions, then participated in the opening ceremony of the renovated building of the Syunik Marz Department in Kapan.
During the consultation meeting with the officers of the Marz Department Sergey Meghryan particularly emphasised the importance of comprehensive reforms for ensuring and enhancing the effectiveness of the activities of the Service, as well as stressed the key role that the compulsory enforcement officer had in the communication with the public when exercising the powers reserved thereto by law.
It was instructed to pay special attention to the strict observance of the rules prescribed by the Commandant in order to protect the public health when receiving citizens. It was recommended to allocate separate premises in the administrative buildings of the Marz departments and divisions of the Service to organise the service of citizens more conveniently and safely.
The head of the Syunik Marz Department introduced to the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer the main issues related to the organisation of the activities of the Marz Department of the Service and conduct of different enforcement proceedings.
During the discussion meeting, Sergey Meghryan also listened to the observations and proposals of the officers. Other current issues were also discussed.
At the end of the working consultation, the Compulsory Enforcement Officer gave relevant assignments to the officers of the Department.
