International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ), which was formed in 1952, and to which more than 80 states are members nowadays, celebrates the world day of the judicial officer since 2007. The Republic of Armenia has become a fully-authorized member since 2015.
An event on the occasion of the 13th World Day of the judicial officer has been organized online this year on 11 June in the form of webinar on the theme: "The judicial officer at your side to resolve the Covid-19 crises", to which about 220 representatives from 25 states have been participating.
The aim of the webinar was to discuss the position papers developed by the UIHJ to overcome the crises occurred during the professional experience of the compulsory enforcement officers, the measures of enforcement of the judicial acts during Covid-19 and the problems occurred by their non-fulfillment.
The president of the International Union of the Judicial Officers Marc Shmitz has noticed in his speech that the profession of the judicial officer shows adaptability to find the adapted answers during this unprecedented problematic situation. In this context the speakers of the webinar touched upon also the features of the work of the Compulsory Enforcement Service of the RA in electronic and remote manner.
Also, on this occasion, a meeting with the individual representatives of the management team of the Compulsory Enforcement Service has been held headed by Sergey Meghryan. By congratulating the colleagues for the day Sergey Meghryan has noted that the International Union of the Judicial Officers is ready to support the Service to overcome the challenges occurred, and in an attempt to implement the adopted policy of amendments a closer cooperation with the UIHJ will be developed.
During the meeting the opportunities of performance of the enforcement actions have been discussed, and also tasks have been delegated by the Chief Compulsory Enforcement Officer to take all necessary precautions to create a safe environment in the workplace.
